Storm clouds rolling in
When does this freedom win
To smash the mold, uncover the seed

Patience is the gift, the lesson is the truth

Trying to hide

Stormy clouds rolling in,
Emotions raw, where do they begin.
The darkness has began to descend,
How do I turn to face it and make it my friend.

The switch has been flipped, the temperature raised,
Why do I react and feel so phased.
Where do I find the buddha deep deep inside,
He is ducking and diving and trying to hide.

I will catch him in the palm of my hand,
that naughty buddha he must understand.
Why does this witness inside of me tut,
As I pout and posture and start to strut.

A silent warrior you may choose to be,
But not when faced with tragedy.
That is when real warriors are brought to form,
In the wildest of winds during the harshest storm.

Deep into night

Falling embers, a burning flame
A voice inside whispering your name
Light and love and mystery
Surrounds my flame when my spirit is free

A candle burning ever so bright
Early morning and deep into the night
Gets cloudy when my energy is low
I loose my my inspirational light and inner glow

Quieting the mind and the heart
Sitting alone in the dark
Can be my bliss or my pain
Depends how I choose to play my game

Listening silently to the body is an honor to fulfil
Whatever is not working must be nurtured and allowed to heal
Surrendering to this place as tough as it may seem
Dispells the tension and restores your connection with the supreme

When you are off balance look inward once more
And choose your divinity which is humble and raw
And silently express gratitude for the gifts in this land
For every soul we must lend a hand

He will never leave our heart

I bow my head when they whisper his name
His legacy, his honor his eternal flame
Emanating warmth and love with every breath
He will never leave our hearts in life or death

His beauty and wisdom so profound to see
Which lives on every moment through his legacy
In the eyes of the children he has nurtured and grown
Who have always felt loved and never alone

And the five brothers, those beacons of light
That stayed close to Babajee in the darkness at night
Reflect the honor and courage of his beautiful soul
Fulfillng his eternal wish, his enduring goal

As generation after generation stand tall from his love

Weak and lifeless heads in the shade
Questionning choices, paths taken and decisions made

A land of softness and gentleness and harmony

Even if we come out bruised, broken and sore

Diamonds are made under extreme force
Go with your intuition then you will have no remorse

Dust yourself down

Weary and worn I drag my feet
Bitter and torn I face defeat
Downtrodden my heart is low
Lifeless and restless without my glow

You have lost your magic the suns in the shade
The burden is hard your resting place made
Unless you decide to quietly search in side
Those questions have answers they just choose to hide

Every moment you have a choice
Listen to the whisper of your internal voice
One of beauty and honor and authenticity
Wants you to dance without restriction and be completely free

Your body is tense your limits have been found
So tread carefully with love till you reach steady ground
The best sailors are made in the stormiest sea
Take control of your ship and sail harmoniously

Your inner glow

When your heart begins to weep,
Slowly and silently in your sleep.

Departing from your true nature, your inner glow.

At every crossroads we determine what's right
We can follow the ego and take on the fight.
Or we can harmoniously flow with the greater source
Give up the fight, have no remorse.

As a forest fire cleans out the old for the new,
